New iPhone Feature Not Working As Advertised
Now we all are aware that the new iPhones had issues, infamously with the charging issue, but if you think the problem stops there, well think again. It seems that Apple’s new iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR can’t deliver 4G or 3G and instead gives a measly 2G data speeds.
New iPhones Dual SIM Problem
This case took place in the United States, where telco company Verizon has confirmed that in some cases the new dual-SIM feature that they’ve advertised in their new lineup of iPhones fails to deliver 4G or let alone 3G speeds and left users with 2G.
The company added that any users that inserts a Verizon SIM card then adds a primary number through the new SIM slot, they will experience themselves to the carrier’s old 2G CDMA network services.
As a result, Verizon is suspending this service as they’ve said “It is affecting our own customers’ iPhones with dual SIM capabilities as well as iPhones on competitors networks.”.
Verizon has confirmed that they are in discussions with Apple on how to solve the issue and the carrier is hopeful that a solution can be found before the year ends.

Pokdepinion: Okay some might point out that it’s the telco’s fault… but dual SIM has been around for so long, I don’t think I’ve ever heard Android devices having the same issue. Hmm, I wonder if any users of the new iPhones have the same issue here in Malaysia.
