Samsung Galaxy M20 Officially Launched in Malaysia
At a launch event in Kuala Lumpur today, Samsung Malaysia has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy M20 in Malaysia. The major difference here compared to other smartphone launches is that it’s a an online-only model that’s exclusive on the Shopee platform.
The Samsung Galaxy M20 is an affordable smartphone powered by the Exynos 7904 SoC with 4GBs of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Meaning here that the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage variant will not be available in Malaysia. It has a rather sizeable 6.3-inch Full HD+ Infinity-V display, which is great for an affordable smartphone. What’s amazing here is that it has a whopping 5,000 mAh battery capacity.
To sweeten the deal, the first 1000 buyers will receive a JBL T450 headphone and a Logitech X50 Bluetooth speaker. The following 2000 buyers will be getting the Logitech X50 for free. Furthermore, the first 100 buyers will receive an additional RM100 Shopee voucher that can be used during the 27.3 Shopee Mega Sale, which is taking place from 21st to 27th March 2019.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 will be available for purchase on 20th March 2019 with a retail price of RM799 on Shopee. It will be available in two colour options; Charcoal Black and Ocean Blue.
Pokdepinion: Not gonna lie, the freebies and the price make for an interesting proposition for an affordable device with a huge battery.
The problems i had with samsung before was poor battery performance after 1+ year of usage.
overheat, and no software update after 2 years old model.

Well if you use your phone quite heavily, 1+ years is around the time you need to burn through the 500 cycles most batteries are typically rated for. Regarding software updates, Samsung’s strong suit has never been their updating their phones, but they have been improving recently, so fingers crossed for the Galaxy M20!
