Samsung One UI 5.1 Already Rolling Out to Older Flagships and Foldables
For those of you not looking to make the leap to the Galaxy S23 series, One UI 5.1 is reportedly rolling out for older flagships and foldables already.
Samsung One UI 5.1 Coming to More Devices Now
Surprisingly, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 5.1 update to the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold4, and Galaxy Z Flip4 sooner than expected. Although we reported earlier that the update would be arriving next week, some units, including those at our headquarters, are already receiving the update.
As we previously mentioned, the One UI 5.1 update comes with new widgets, an Expert RAW mode, improved gallery, connectivity, DeX mode, and more. According to rumours, all phones that received the One UI 5.0 update will receive the One UI 5.1 update. From our understanding, the Galaxy S20 and S21 series have already started receiving the update.
If you have yet to get the update, just give it a bit more time as it will be coming very soon. We will go into more details on the OS update and its features in our Galaxy S23 Ultra review so stay tuned for that.
Pokdepinion: It’s a pretty good update, though it’s mostly because of how much I enjoy Android 13 more than 12. You just got to take the time to familiarize with some of the new features and new additions to existing ones, and I’m sure a lot of them will serve you well.
