The Beastly Acer Predator Helios 700 is Now Available in Malaysia
At a launch event in Kuala Lumpur today, Acer Malaysia officially announced the availability of the Acer Predator Helios 700 in Malaysia. For those of you who aren’t aware, it’s a beastly gaming laptop with a unique design in the form of the HyperDrift Keyboard.
The HyperDrift design lets you extend the keyboard / trackpad out to reveal hidden speakers and fans through the Corning Gorilla Glass and mesh, giving it increased airflow up to 18.9%. The fans utilized in the machine is Acer’s signature Dual 4th Gen Aeroblade 3D fans, maximizing airflow while also minimizing noise.
Due to the unique nature of the Acer Predator Helios 700, there are four accessible performance modes; Normal and Fast when the keyboard is docked, Boosted and Extreme when the keyboard is undocked. The keyboard itself has per-key RGB backlighting and MagForce WASD keys for more precise in-game movements.
This beastly machine utilizes a 17.3-inch 144Hz Full HD IPS display with G-SYNC support. This makes it a viable choice for competitive gamers, especially for those who are looking to have an edge over enemy players. The Acer Predator Helios 700 will be available from today onwards at all Acer authorized dealers and Acer official online store nationwide. It will be retailing for RM17,999 and will include a 2-year warranty period with accident and theft protection.

Pokdepinion: Personally, I’m not sure if I’d be leaning more towards this or the Triton 900. Perhaps if I’m looking purely at gaming, it’s probably this one.
