Tronsmart brings aptX with the very affordable Spunky Beat TWS earphones

First up, yes, the word “spunk” does not evoke pleasant images. But perhaps only Tronsmart is really the only brand brave enough to use the word in their new Tronsmart Spunky Beat True Wireless (TWS) headphones. Well spunky means something else, but you know what I mean.

Besides its eyebrow-raising name, the Tronsmart Spunky Beat TWS also comes with a pretty exciting set of features. It packs the somewhat popular Qualcomm QCC3020 chip, thus bringing with it support for Qualcomm True Wireless technology over Bluetooth 5.0. It also touts aptX support, for high quality wireless audio. To ensure that you can hear that quality, Tronsmart uses custom-made, graphene-coated 6mm drivers, with them claiming better deep bass and incredible surround sound.

While we wouldn’t recommend using TWS earphones for calls, Tronsmart has built in cVc 8.0 active noise cancellation technology to improve your call quality.

Last but not least, Tronsmart has integrated a USB-A charging cable into the case, making it extra convenient to charge your Spunky Beats.

If you decide to not use the cable, there’s also a USB-C port to charge it faster. Tronsmart really cared about the charging, with two ways to juice up your Spunky Beat. You won’t really need it that often though with up to 7 hours of battery life in the earphones themselves, and an additional 24 hours with the charging case.

How much do these cost? The Tronsmart Spunky Beat TWS earphones goes for only $29.90 (~RM125.22). I would say that’s a pretty good price for TWS earphones supporting aptX, not to mention one that supports two charging input methods.
