Nokia’s flagship smartphone for last year, the Nokia 9 PureView was launched in the early parts of 2019, which came with 2018’s Snapdragon 845 SoC. Now it seems that HMD Global doesn’t want to repeat that move with their next flagship smartphone.

It’s reported that the device that’s coming is called the Nokia 9.2. You’re probably wondering on why they skipped 9.1, and truth be told, we are too.

Planned to be release in Q2 of this year, it seems that the device will be pushed back even further with reports that HMD wants to feature this year’s Snapdragon 865 and 5G connectivity to the phone.

The report is according to a tipster Nokia Anew, who previously leaked that the previous Nokia 9 PureView would be introduced at MWC.

As far as the news goes, the information of the leak is still to be confirmed officially, so do take it with a pinch of salt.
