PRISM+ has unveiled a new refrigeration range in Malaysia, anchored by the PureFresh FDR 520, a four-door refrigerator featuring lab-certified antibacterial protection. The lineup also includes the compact PureFresh TMF 170 and the all-new FreezeMaster chest freezer series.
PRISM+ PureFresh FDR 520
The PRISM+ PureFresh FDR 520 is the flagship model of the new range, offering a 520-liter gross capacity across four compartments. Its built-in Negative Ion Generator delivers 99.99% antibacterial protection and has been assessed in a laboratory setting against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus – two common causes of food poisoning – over 24 hours of continuous testing.
The company positions FDR 520 as the only model in its class backed by this level of laboratory assessment against actual bacterial strains. A Multi Zone Cooling System distributes both cool air and negative ions evenly across all compartments, helping maintain consistent temperatures throughout the unit.
The refrigerator includes No Frost Technology and an Inverter Compressor for energy efficiency, alongside an external LED touch display for temperature control. Quick Cool and Quick Freeze modes are available for rapidly chilling or freezing groceries after a shopping trip. An Energy Saving Mode is also built in to reduce electricity consumption during low-usage periods.
Now available nationwide, the PRISM+ PureFresh FDR 520 comes in Inox and Gentle Matte Black finishes – the Inox variant is priced at RM2,599 and the Gentle Matte Black at RM2,739. Both are available immediately through the official website, Shopee Official Store, and PRISM+ retail stores nationwide. Each unit carries a 12-year compressor warranty.
PureFresh TMF 170 & FreezeMaster Series
Moving on, the PRISM+ PureFresh TMF 170 is a compact 170-liter refrigerator designed for apartments, studio units, office pantries, and rental properties. It occupies just 0.23m² of floor space while operating at 42dB (roughly comparable to a quiet library); the unit carries a 4-Star Energy Rating and features tempered glass shelves and a reversible door. It will be available for pre-order via the PRISM+ website at RM999, with a 10-year compressor warranty.
Beyond refrigerators, the PRISM+ FreezeMaster chest freezer series targets households buying in bulk and small businesses such as cafes, convenience stores, and home-based food sellers. Key features across the range include up to 100 hours of power-off protection during unexpected outages, a 4-Star Energy Rating, built-in LED lighting, a child-safe temperature dial, a hovering door design, and a removable storage basket. The interior uses a smooth white lining for easy cleaning.
Two FreezeMaster models are available: the FreezeMaster 260 and the FreezeMaster 390 (the number denoting its capacity in liters), both in Light Grey. They are available for pre-order via the PRISM+ website from RM1,199 and RM1,699 respectively; both carry 12-year compressor warranties.
For the three models now open for pre-orders, they are expected to arrive from mid to end August 2026 – all five products are eligible for an optional Premium Extended Warranty add-on, offering up to 5 to 8 years of additional coverage beyond the standard warranty period.
