Anker is bringing its Guinness-certified voice clarity performance to its new soundcore AeroClip 2 open-ear earbuds, courtesy of its in-house “Thus” AI co-processor and a “six-sensor hybrid voice pickup system” designed to isolate the wearer’s voice in noisy environments.

At the core of the soundcore AeroClip 2’s call performance is a combination of two voice pickup units (VPUs) that detect vibrations from the wearer’s vocal cords, paired with four high-SNR MEMS microphones; this hardware works in tandem with Thus chip (first debuted in soundcore Liberty 5 Pro series), which “cross-references” the audio signals to separate the wearer’s voice from surrounding ambient noise.

With the combined hardware integrated into the soundcore Aeroclip 2, the earbuds also took home another Guinness World Record in September 2026: Highest speech quality score (G-MOS) for open-ear clip-on earbuds (objective test). Anker also noted its Whisper Mode keeps speech intelligible when background noise exceeds 80dB without the wearer raising their voice. The same hardware also supports AI-assisted translation.

The earbuds were developed using a database of more than 2,000 3D ear scans, which Anker used to define a clamping-force range called the Comfort-Grip Zone. A Golden-Fit titanium wire flexes within a silicone C-bridge, and the earbuds carry an IP57 dust and water resistance rating. Audio comes from a 12mm dual-magnetic driver with a metal and polymer diaphragm, which doubles low-frequency sound pressure energy compared to its predecessor; the earbuds support LDAC with Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, while HearID 5.0 creates a personalized EQ profile from an in-app hearing test.

Battery life reaches up to eight hours per charge and up to 32 hours with the charging case, with a 10-minute quick charge providing up to four hours of playback. The case supports wireless charging, and Phone-Free Mode allows playback of locally stored music without a connected phone.

The Anker soundcore AeroClip 2 is priced at RM729 in Malaysia and is available in Midnight Black, Burgundy Red, Cloud White and Mist Blue. It is sold online through Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, as well as at Anker retail stores, including Anker IOI City Mall, Anker Damansara and the upcoming Anker Sunway Pyramid store.

Pokdepinion: While it may be good enough to not let the other side hear noises, I imagine it wouldn’t help if the environment is so loud that the user can’t hear themselves talking.
