You Can Turn Your Samsung Galaxy Buds FE Into A Poké Ball With The Latest Official Accessory

Pokémon fans – Samsung Malaysia has prepared something special for you, especially if you own one of the recently released Galaxy Buds FE earbuds. This new cover accessory, officially named Pokémon Eco Friends Buds Cover, is a collaboration between Samsung and Nintendo/Creatures/GAME FREAK (owners of the Pokémon brand).

This limited-time special turns the rounded rectangular-shaped case of the stock Galaxy Buds FE into, you guessed it, a ball – with the blue-dominant colorways with red striped accents (according to the Internet, it’s called the “Great Ball”). While there’s a button in the middle, it’s merely for cosmetics as the case itself doesn’t have the lock to open up the case in the first place. A convenient design feature comes in the form of a built-in cutout that lets the USB-C cable pass through, so you don’t have to remove the case for charging.

To recap, the Galaxy Buds FE comes with a combined six microphones (2 outer + 1 inner on each side) and a 6.5mm dynamic driver responsible for audio delivery. Being the FE model means there are some features cut, including the ability to charge wirelessly, as well as a relatively weak ingress protection of IPX2. You can get the combo with the purchase of the Galaxy Buds FE itself at RM399, as the case will be provided free of charge (until December 31, 2023); alternatively, existing owners can buy the case separately for the price of RM169.
