HUAWEI FreeBuds Lipstick will probably look right at home in your handbag
I have not found a pair of earbuds that looks too masculine, except maybe the likes of the Edifier GX07, but hey, if you wanted something more feminine, this is probably right up your alley. The HUAWEI FreeBuds Lipstick’s name leaves little to the imagination: it is literally a pair of earbuds with a charging case that looks like a lipstick.
HUAWEI FreeBuds Lipstick: the lipstick earbuds for the fairer sex?
The experience of the HUAWEI FreeBuds Lipstick should probably start with the packaging. It comes in a scented gift box, that HUAWEI claims to recreate those beautifully romantic moments of your life and add that extra touch of pleasure. Fancy.
The unique lipstick-shaped charging case comes in a stunning black and gold, but I do hope that you do not misplace the cover, as it detaches completely, unlike with most TWS earbuds in the market today. Aside fom that, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Lipstick looks like a recolored version of the HUAWEI FreeBuds 4. This means that it includes all the key features of the HUAWEI FreeBuds 4, including its earbud-like design along with the Open-fit ANC 2.0 that’s somewhat unique to HUAWEI’s offerings.
The HUAWEI FreeBuds Lipstick promises up to 2.5 hours of listening on a single charge with ANC turned on with the 30mAh battery per earbud, just like the FreeBuds 4. They also managed to cram the same 410mAh battery into the lipstick-like charging case, giving you a total of up to 14 hours of use.

Pricing wise, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Lipstick appears to be priced at a significant premium over its regular FreeBuds 4 sibling. At EUR249 (~RM1202), it is close to double what HUAWEI is charging for the FreeBuds 4 here in Malaysia. Local availability is still unknown though, but with it reportedly being a limited run, you might not see it here in Malaysia at all.
Pokdepinion: It’s definitely a unique design. I think that it should have a twisting mechanism to raise the earbuds out of the case though. Like a real lipstick.
