SHOKZ, a brand exclusively focusing on open-ear earphones, has opened two new retail stores in Malaysia at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (at Bukit Bintang) and Pavilion Bukit Jalil, bringing its total number of dedicated retail locations in the country to three. The openings follow the brand’s first Malaysian retail store at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
SHOKZ Opens Two New “Monostores” In KL
At the new stores (or “monostores” as referred by the brand), customers can view and test SHOKZ’s product range, including the OpenSwim Pro, OpenDots 2, OpenFit Pro, and the OpenRun Pro 2. Its staffs, or “Open-Ear Specialists”, are available at the stores to provide product recommendations based on individual use cases.
“The opening of two new SHOKZ monostores marks an important step in our growth in Malaysia,” said Lyndon Chen, APAC Sales Manager of SHOKZ. “As more consumers discover the benefits of open-ear listening, having a stronger presence on the ground allows us to be closer to the market and better understand how Malaysians are incorporating this technology into their everyday lives,” he continued, stating that the choice of two prominent retail locations reflects the company’s confidence in the continued growth of open-ear audio in the country.

SHOKZ said it has built ties with Malaysia’s running and fitness communities over the years, supporting initiatives aligned with its focus on audio that allows users to remain aware of their surroundings during activities such as running, commuting or navigating the city. Beyond product demonstrations, the company said its network of retail stores in Malaysia will also provide after-sales support for existing customers, including setup assistance following purchase and direct warranty support.
