Honda Malaysia has introduced the 2026 WR-V with updated exterior and interior features – 3 years in and more than 24,000 units sold later, the refresh includes a new Two-Tone Blazing Red Pearl color offered exclusively for the RS variant, alongside a streamlined three-variant lineup consisting of E, V and RS, dropping the base S variant from the range.

The new RS variant now features a black front grille alongside the new Two-Tone Blazing Red Pearl color, which pairs a red body with a black-colored roof; all three variants now come standard with 17-inch black alloy wheels. Inside, the RS variant adds red ambient lighting, a wireless charger and a 360-degree view camera, while both V and RS variants get leather seats with red stitching, along with a redesigned dashboard finished in dark steel accents. Said variants also feature a 10-inch display audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The WR-V retains a 380L luggage capacity and 60:40 split-folding rear seats, supporting configurable cargo layouts through Utility Mode, Long Mode and Tall Mode for different load types. Honda SENSING driver-assist technology remains standard across all variants, alongside the Honda CONNECT telematics system, which is exclusive to the RS variant.
Despite the refresh, the WR-V refresh continues to use Honda’s 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC naturally-aspirated inline-4 engine, producing 121PS (119hp) @ 6,600RPM and 145Nm @ 4,300RPM, which is paired with a CVT that drives the front wheels. This translates to 0-100km/h sprint of 11.0-11.2 seconds (depending on the variant), while top speed is 160km/h.
The New WR-V is priced at RM104,900 for the RS variant, RM98,900 for the V variant, and RM94,900 for the E variant (on-the-road prices, without insurance). The model is available in five colors: the new Two-Tone Blazing Red Pearl (RS variant only), Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Stellar Diamond Pearl, and Blazing Red Pearl (V and RS variants only). Pokdepinion: A two-tone paint job and red stitching won’t change the driving experience, but it’s a nice touch for buyers who care about looks.
