Epson Malaysia recently launched the SureColor SC-F20030 industrial dye-sublimation (dye-sub) printer, extending the brand’s existing 76-inch lineup beyond the SC-F11030, targeting textile operations that require higher throughput and reduced downtime across short-run and high-volume production workflows.

The Epson SureColor SC-F20030 features eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads arranged in a horizontal overlapping configuration, doubling the four-printhead layout of the SC-F11030. The architecture supports production speeds of up to 306 m²/h at 600 x 600 dpi across the full 76-inch print width. The printer uses Epson UltraChrome DS Ink with a bulk supply system featuring 10-litre ink packs and hot-swap functionality, which allows production to continue without interruption while the empty pack is replaced.
Inside the machine, a built-in drying system with double-sided heating warms both the front and back of transfer media during printing to reduce ink transfer and wrinkling, while an integrated dust-reduction mechanism combining an intake fan and media cleaner limits dust buildup and reduces the risk of nozzle clogging. Operators can replace specific components – including the printhead and anti-drying cap – without a service call, supported by onboard printer diagnostics.
For high-production environments, optional jumbo roll and jumbo reel units support media loads of up to 300kg, reducing the frequency of media changes during extended production runs. The SC-F20030 is available for purchase in Malaysia from 1 July 2026, with availability and configurations varying by market.
