The VoloCity boarding experience proved particularly popular, maintaining steady visitor engagement throughout the event.
FIX 2026 Showcases Robotics, Mobility and AI Across Exhibition Halls
The East Wing hosted the mobility exhibition, where Hyundai Motor Company presented its ATRIA AI and Pleos concepts alongside GMTCK’s hands-free driver assistance system Super Cruise. Regional automotive component manufacturers SL, Sambo Motors, and PHC demonstrated their transitions into future industries through smart factory processes, scaled UAM models, and robotic actuators. Global automakers including Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Zeekr, and BYD also displayed their electric vehicle lineups.

In the West Wing, HD Hyundai Robotics and Doosan Robotics participated for the first time at FIX 2026. HD Hyundai Robotics showcased its next-generation collaborative robot HDC35-18 and a new dual-arm model, while Doosan Robotics presented a range of productivity-enhancing solutions including Scan&Go, a recipient of the CES Best of Innovation Award.
The ICT sector featured notable showcases including Geobot’s autonomous sinkhole-exploration robot, AIRC’s AI-powered unmanned robotic convenience-store platform PnGO, and Farmity’s posture and behaviour recognition solution FIRA Pose, which received two innovation awards at CES 2026. These technologies demonstrated AI applications extending into urban safety, retail, and healthcare.
The startup sector saw 91 global partners from 12 countries participating alongside 30 Korean startups at the Startup Arena. The Daegu Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (DCCEI) hosted a specialised corporate zone featuring 14 regional enterprises under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Startup City Project, with standout showcases from Nuvinda’s 120Nm-class high back-drivability integrated actuator for humanoid robotics, TheSunHan’s YAK on-premises deep learning compute infrastructure, and LearningVision’s visual AI inspection solution for secondary battery manufacturing.
The accompanying conference, held from 21 to 23 October, brought 61 speakers from 14 countries to the stage, including GMTCK President Brian McMurray, Seoul National University Professor Kyu-Jin Cho, PAL Robotics CEO Francesco Ferro, and Vector AI Institute Professor Xiaoxiao Li.
FIX 2026 Innovation Awards and Global Media Awards Recognise 31 Enterprises

The third edition of the FIX Innovation Awards evaluated 209 technology enterprises through a panel of 26 experts. Thirty-one companies were recognised across future mobility, robotics, and AI/ICT. The Best of FIX Innovation Award (top honours) went to nine category champions: ONEPREDICT, SWM, PERSEUS, and HJWAVE in future mobility; Tesollo and AeiROBOT in robotics; and CENS, WACE, and POTATONET in AI/ICT.

On 23 October, the BEST OF FIX 2026 Global Media Awards ceremony took place at the FIX TV Zone. Ten international media outlets from Europe, the Americas, and Asia each selected their top three breakthrough enterprises, spotlighting 30 companies in total across Physical AI, finished platforms, and core engineering. Pokde.net selected STM Corporation (wheel-bearing seals and magnetic encoders), GEOBOT (Physical AI and subsurface diagnostic robots), and Intellectus Corp. (DDS real-time industrial middleware int2ConneX) as its top three picks.
DOGU Robotics, selected by Ubergizmo, was among those who responded to the recognition. Jinhyo Kim, Founder and CEO of DOGU Robotics, noted that the award from a Silicon Valley-based outlet would help the company establish business with major players in Silicon Valley’s industrial value chain, supported by their new US office in San Jose.
Export consultations conducted through KOTRA buyer invitations and overseas business matching at FIX 2026 totalled USD 353 million. Procurement consultations with major domestic conglomerates including SK Hynix and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries reached 32 billion KRW, bringing the combined consultation volume to approximately 508.6 billion KRW.
