SAT.Asia, a subsidiary of Singularity Connect, has partnered with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to launch i-AGRI, an AI-powered national agricultural technology adoption platform. It was officially unveiled at MAHA 2026 in the presence of YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad bin Sabu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, marking a significant step in Malaysia’s agricultural digitalization agenda.

Beyond the MDEC partnership, SAT.Asia also announced two additional collaborations at the event. The company signed agreements with UNIMAS Holdings focused on AgTech talent development, and with MarketBoy Marketing on AI-enabled aquaculture solutions.

What The i-AGRI Platform Offers

The i-AGRI platform is designed to give stakeholders a unified view of agricultural digitalization progress and data that was previously scattered across multiple sources. By consolidating fragmented agricultural data into a single dashboard, the platform aims to support more informed decision-making across different segments of the agriculture sector.

Access to the i-AGRI dashboard is set to open for stakeholders in Q4 2026, with a wider public release targeted for the second half of 2027 at the earliest. The platform’s AI capabilities are intended to support agricultural data intelligence and technology deployment at scale, rather than addressing individual farm-level needs in isolation.

The collaboration with UNIMAS Holdings focuses on developing industry-ready AgTech talent, addressing the human capital side of agricultural digitalization. Meanwhile, the partnership with MarketBoy Marketing targets AI-enabled solutions for the aquaculture sector, extending SAT.Asia’s reach into a key segment of Malaysia’s food production industry.

Pokdepinion: Hopefully farmers actually benefit from this.
