ASUS recently announced the new NUC 15 Pro, its second generation of NUCs since the Taiwanese PC giant taking the reins of the lineup from Intel back in 2023. The new model can be equipped with Intel’s new Core Ultra 200H (Arrow Lake) processors, including business-oriented vPro models.

The company says NUC 15 Pro’s chip now packs up to 99 platform TOPS (a combined figure using CPU, GPU, and NPU’s individual compute power), plus 18% improvement in performance over previous-gen processors. The models also feature up to 192GB DDR5-6400 SODIMM memory, with one M.2 2280 SSD slot and one M.2 2242 SSD slot, supporting up to 4TB.
For connectivity, there’s 2.5GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 7 – though only Core Ultra models support full 320MHz band via the Intel BE201 chip, with the non-Ultra models using the BE202 chip that supports only the 160MHz band. The NUC 15 Pro also supports up to four 4K displays via a pair of HDMI 2.1 TMDS (with CEC) and Thunderbolt 4 outputs, while there are a total of 4 USB-A ports plus a 20Gbps Type-C port for data connections.
As before, the 0.48-liter chassis supports tool-less access for component upgrades and repairs, with VESA mount available for monitor-mounted installations. Two versions will be available – one with pre-installed hardware and pre-loaded with Windows 11 Pro, or the kit version that can be optioned with bare hardware for custom installations. The ASUS NUC 15 Pro will be available in Malaysia by the end of April 2025.
Pokdepinion: Looks like a minor refresh, though this should be decent upgrades.
