ASUS ExpertCenter D8 SFF Business PC Now Available In Malaysia
ASUS Malaysia today announces the new ExpertCenter D8 SFF (small form-factor) PC is now available. It comes with two configurations: the upper model comes with Intel Core i7-13700 with vPro Essentials, with 2x8GB DDR5-4800 RAM out-of-the-box. The lower model, meanwhile, comes paired with Core i5-13500 with vPro Essentials, and a single 8GB stick of DDR5-4800 RAM. (Both are configurable with 2x16GB RAM as an option.)
That’s where the difference ends – as other aspects of the system are equally shared on both configurations. For starters, the Intel Q670-based motherboard comes with 4 DIMM slots available for future upgrades, with 512GB onboard SSD provided. Upgradability remains the key, with two M.2 slots, plus one 2.5″ and 3.5″ drive bay each. Customers can configure the system with 1TB SSD + 2TB HDD, or upgrade later as needed.
Elsewhere, there’s also the option to get a discrete GPU in the form of a basic NVIDIA GT 1030 GPU, or you can stick with the onboard GPU that comes with Intel processors themselves (UHD 770). There’s plenty of I/O, with a total of 11 USB ports in an assortment of speeds and form factors; plus all the modern and legacy connectivity ports, including VGA and PS/2. Connectivity comes courtesy of Wi-Fi 6E, with LAN port available.
Both configurations of the ASUS ExpertCenter D8 SFF come with a 3-year local on-site warranty, with the option to extend to 5 years as needed. Pricing starts at RM3,448 for the Core i5 model, whereas the Core i7 model will be priced from RM4,416 onwards.
Pokdepinion: That’s decent amounts of performance for the price.
