COLORFUL has announced its new SMART 900 compact desktop PC featuring AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which features 16 CPU cores and 40 GPU compute units both packed into a single chip, similar to Apple’s M-series SoCs.

While the company officially designates this machine as a “Mini PC”, its size is more in line with SFF desktops (at 247.5 x 188.4 x 96.5mm, 4 liters of volume) than the palm-sized machines that is more commonly associated with the term. Still, inside this chassis you can find one of the most powerful Ryzen processors available today, coupled with LPDDR5X-8000 memory (capacity is not listed, though we assume this maxes out at 128GB) and a pair of PCIe 4.0 SSD slots onboard.
The SMART 900’s I/O includes a pair of USB4 ports, an SD 4.0 card slot, DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3, HDMI 2.1, headphone jacks, 2.5GbE LAN, five USB-A ports, along with Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity. All of these are packed inside a chassis covered by anodized aluminum for a more industrial and minimalist look, which will be appreciated by workstation users.
At the time of publishing, COLORFUL has yet to provide any official pricing for the SMART 900.
