ASUS Malaysia has announced the Fragrance Mouse MD101 is now available nationwide – in case you missed it, this new mouse has a special trick in the form of a cartridge that stores aromatic oils of your choosing. For this launch, the company is providing free aromatic oil upon purchases made by 20 July 2025.

Aromatic specialties aside, the Fragrance Mouse MD101 behaves just like most regular mice, which means you get the dual-mode wireless connectivity via Bluetooth or 2.4GHz dongle, along with PTFE feet for smooth gliding, three adjustable DPI levels (1200, 1600, 2400), near-silent clicks rated for 10 million actuations, and a year-long battery life courtesy of a single AA-sized battery. Two color options are available: Iridescent White and Rose Clay.
The promotion didn’t mention what kind of scent you’ll be getting, so you’ll need to visit any of the aforementioned locations to smell for yourself. If you intend to bring your own (the mouse does include the tools needed to fill up the vial), make sure to avoid using 100% pure essential oils, ASUS warns – oils for reed diffusers, ultrasonic diffusers, and aroma stones are recommended instead.
