AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Leak Reveals 13% More Performance Than 7600X

Some details on the AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU has leaked online and it allegedly has 13% better performance than the Ryzen 5 7600X.

Some alleged details on the AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU was leaked out by @BenchLeaks on Twitter. It shows that the CPU obtained a Geekbench score of 2,062 points in the single core test and 12,685 in the multi core test. This was tested using the ASRock X670E Taichi motherboard with 16GB DDR5 RAM at 2,400MHz / 4800MT/s.

For those of you who aren’t aware, the AMD Ryzen 7 7700 has 8 cores and 16 threads with a base clock of 3.8GHz and a boost clock of up to 5.3GHz. From the score, it appears to be 13% faster than the Ryzen 5 7600X, which scored 11,215 in the multi core test.

It’s worth noting that this CPU hasn’t been officially announced by AMD, so we’re not even certain if it will see the light of day. Do take this information with a grain of salt. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: As interesting as the performance could be, I’m more interested in the pricing if it is indeed real. After all, the new 7000 series has been offering killer value for what you’re paying.
