Leaked Intel Marketing Materials Confirms Specs For Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs

Videocardz has obtained the leaked marketing materials courtesy of Intel Japan, which confirmed the alleged specifications of the upcoming 14th Gen K-series chips. The launch lineup is said to be three models – the Core i9-14900K, the Core i7-14700K and the Core i5-14600K, all of which has been revealed in the materials.

Per images above, the Core i9-14900K will feature the same core configuration of 8P+16E cores, while the clockspeed gets a small bump to enter the 6-Gigahertz territory. This is technically first done by the previous-gen Core i9-13900KS, though it’s a special model and now will be available in a standard SKU. Meanwhile, the Core i7 gains 4 more E-cores compared to its direct predecessor, and clockspeeds also get a 200MHz bump to 5.6GHz. The same 200MHz gain applies to Core i5-14600K (core configuration unchanged), too.

Previously, MSI’s internal marketing materials has also revealed that the 14th Gen, being a minor refresh, will receive very little performance improvements for the Core i9 and Core i5, whereas Core i7 gets a bigger improvement thanks to its extra E-cores at disposal.

Expect the launch to land on October 17th – if previous leaks are any indication. Intel has yet to officially announce a release date at this writing.
