PNY Malaysia Launches DDR5-5600 Desktop RAM, With Two Capacity Options
Fusion Tech Supply Sdn Bhd (FTSMY), the exclusive local supplier for PNY products, has announced the launch of the new entry-level Performance DDR5-5600 desktop RAM (CL40), designed for value and low-cost PC builds. It comes with two capacities: 8GB and 16GB, both of which comes as single-stick configuration. It comes with no heatsinks attached – and the bare PCB is colored black, similar to some other basic DDR5 offerings on the market.
The company advises those building a gaming PC or require memory-sensitive workloads to install a pair of each to ensure better memory performance with dual-channel mode. (Alternatively, gamers can opt for PNY MAKO DDR5 series, available in Black and White colorways.) These modules comes with AMD EXPO as well as Intel XMP 3.0 support, available in all recent CPUs and motherboard systems.
As for the pricing, PNY sets the DDR5-5600 8GB at RM149 each, whereas the DDR5-5600 16GB is priced at RM259. All products come with limited lifetime warranty backed by FTSMY (as long as the packaging comes with the yellow distributor sticker); the product is now available on online retailers including Shopee, as well as physical stores such as Lowyat Plaza KL, and various builders nationwide.
