More Intel Arrow Lake & Panther Lake Laptop CPU Details Leaked

It’s only a week since Computex 2024 concluded with Intel announcing Lunar Lake processors (the first of the upcoming Core Ultra 200 lineup), but new information has emerged from NBD shipping database which provides hints on the two upcoming architectures from Team Blue, Arrow Lake and Panther Lake.

Arrow Lake & Panther Lake Uncovered

Starting with Arrow Lake – this architecture will be responsible for the desktop and high-performance laptops under the Core Ultra 200 family, and the database has revealed more details on how these chips will be like, in terms of core count. Based on the listing, we can see several variants of the Arrow Lake, including S (desktops), HX (BGA desktop chip for laptops), H (mainstream high-performance laptops), and U (low-power laptops).

As far as product segmentation is concerned, Arrow Lake will mostly pick up what Intel 14th Gen left off, with the S-series (desktop) having 8P+16E cores onboard, HX-series featuring 8P+8E cores, H-series packing up to 6P+8E cores, and U-series, as usual, maxing out at 2P+8E cores. All Arrow Lake chips will feature Arc Alchemist-based onboard graphics, though the exact graphics SKU differ between designs.

Meanwhile, Panther Lake (tentatively Core Ultra 300, successor to Lunar Lake) has a completely different suffixes, with UH, UPH, and the P suffix mentioned in the shipment entries. The listing also reveals that Panther Lake will continue to feature on-package LPDDR5X memory as seen on Lunar Lake SoCs, though it’ll offer more memory configurations than the 16GB and 32GB currently available for Lunar Lake-based offerings.

In terms of release timeline, the massive Dell leak earlier this year has provided several hints, indicating that Arrow Lake will be launching on Q1 2025, while Panther Lake will at least be announced by Q4 2025 (though the laptops are most likely debuting on CES 2026).

Pokdepinion: Safe to say there will be no core count increase for Arrow Lake, so let’s hope the architecture itself brings some improvements.
