Acer Malaysia has introduced a lineup of new devices ahead of the festive season, featuring the Revo Box Mini-PC and two projectors, the AOPEN QF18S and Acer Vero PL2530i.
Acer Revo Box
Starting with the Acer Revo Box RB102 – this sub-litre mini-PC is available in two variants, either the Intel Core i7-1355U or Core i5-1334U processors, though both feature largely the same specs otherwise. These include 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD (with expansion available), and optional VESA mounting that allows these devices to be directly attached behind monitors.
Connectivity options include audio jack, USB-C (Thunderbolt), four USB-A ports, dual LAN ports, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0, along with triple-monitor output support via HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and Thunderbolt ports. The Revo Box RB102 is priced at RM2,699 for the Intel Core i7 variant and RM2,049 for the Intel Core i5 variant – both are now available for purchase nationwide.
Projectors
Acer has also introduced two new projectors for entertainment: first, the AOPEN QF18S features smart entertainment capabilities with direct access to streaming services, dual 5W speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity for music sharing. It features a 13,000 Lumens LED light source (with a 30,000-hour lifespan) and Auto Focus technology that keeps the lens focused on the screen from the get-go.
Meanwhile, as part of the Vero series, the Acer Vero PL2530i prioritizes sustainability, incorporating 50% post-consumer recycled plastic in its chassis and 100% recyclable packaging. It features a 5,000-lumen laser light source that saves up to 50% more energy compared to traditional projectors. Aside from native 1080p output, it also supports 4K resolution – and you get the same amount of lamp lifespan as the aforementioned AOPEN model.
The AOPEN QF18S will retail at RM1,199, while the Acer Vero PL2530i is priced at RM3,999. Pre-orders are now open, with official availability starting January 2025.
