Acer SpatialLabs View Series Display Brings Stereoscopic 3D to You
Acer SpatialLabs View
It appears that stereoscopic 3D is a key point for this year’s next@Acer as it’s not just a laptop getting the feature. In fact, we have two new portable monitors with the feature, and it’s known as the Acer SpatialLabs View and SpatialLabs View Pro.
Both portable monitors use a 15.6-inch 4K display with the ability to convert 2D imagery into stereoscopic 3D, supporting over 50 games with more to be added later on. Apart from that, the brightness is 400 nits and the colour coverage is said to be 100% Adobe RGB.
What sets the Pro model apart from the standard version are add-ons to make the software work more seamlessly and the ability to use a VESA wall mount while still retaining its portable body and the collapsible kickstand.
The Acer SpatialLabs View will be retailing from USD $1,099 (RM4,824.61). Pricing and availability in Malaysia is still unknown at the moment but we will report more on that as soon as information becomes available.
Pokdepinion: I love portable monitors as it opens up a lot of avenues for me in terms of working on-the-go. I’m not sure if I would really make use of stereoscopic 3D but it would be fun to have.
