BenQ ZOWIE Unveils Two New Esports Monitors & New Wireless Mouse

BenQ’s esports arm, ZOWIE, has unveiled two new monitors, XL2546X and XL2586X, plus the new U2 gaming mouse for competitive gamers and esports athletes.

The ZOWIE XL2546X and XL2586X, a 240Hz panel and a blazing-fast 540Hz panel respectively, are designed with speed and precision as their sole target, just like their XL series predecessors that can be traced back to 2010. Both feature the company’s Fast TN technology that offers fast response times and minimal ghosting/smearing in fast motions. DyAc 2 improves on the backlight strobing technology, now featuring two backlighting panels to improve motion blur reduction performance.

BenQ is also bringing the XL Setting to Share app which allows players to quickly apply a competitive color preset for better identifying the enemies in-game. This adapts to the system and disables automatically when it detects the game is inactive, so regular content can still stick to more natural colors. The 540Hz XL2586X also comes with a color film that enhances outlines on moving objects, which is claimed to improve reaction times.

Moving on to the U2 wireless gaming mouse, the design is modeled after faster click times by a left-side curved design that reduces thumb angle, with the right-side curve allowing easy placement of the ring finger to provide better balance upon force exertion. It’s also using the PixArt PAW3395 sensor with an enhanced receiver (which doubles as a charging dock) for improved signal stability.

In terms of pricing, BenQ Malaysia says the XL2546X will be priced at RM2,588; though local pricing for XL2586X and the U2 mouse is not yet announced thus far.

Pokdepinion: How many GPUs out there can actually run any game at 540Hz? Probably just the RTX 4090, I guess.
