[CES 2025] ASUS Announces ROG, TUF & Prime GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs

ASUS has announced its lineup of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, including models from the ROG, TUF Gaming, and ASUS Prime families. The big change this time around is the introduction of an all-new ROG lineup – ROG Astral, while the ROG Strix nameplate is now relegated to focus on mid-range GPUs.

GPUs have officially gone past three fans: the ROG Astral series is the first quad-fan GPU from the brand, and with it comes up to 20% improved airflow over triple-fan setups. Besides the quad-fan, ASUS has also designed the AIO-based Astral LC variant with a 360mm radiator for up to 30% better thermal performance compared to air-cooled models, exclusive to RTX 5090 GPUs. The ROG Astral series will cover both RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, available in standard and factory-overclocked versions.

As for the revamped ROG Strix series, it now will serve as the top variant for RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 models; the TUF Gaming series serves as the mid-range variant for all RTX 50 GPUs announced so far, with 8 models available (four announced GPUs, plus their factory OC counterparts). Finally, the ASUS Prime series rounds out the lineup with tri-fan cooling and a 2.5-slot design to better fit compact PC builds.
