Another day of Intel Arc GPU leaks, and once again it is relating to the Arc B580 model. This time, a Geekbench benchmark entry has revealed some of the key specs, even if the benchmark score isn’t necessarily trustworthy at this time.

More Intel Arc B580 Leaks

According to the listing, the benchmark was performed on a GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS MASTER motherboard paired with Team Blue’s current flagship processor, the Core Ultra 9 285K. Under the “OpenCL Information” lies the key specs that has been revealed for the first time: 160 “Compute Units”, 2.85GHz maximum frequency, and 11.6GB of VRAM (which can be rounded off as 12GB).

On that “Compute Units” bit – Intel doesn’t refer to its GPU cores this way, but based on what we know of the Battlemage architecture that this GPU is based on, that leaves us with 20 Xe2-Cores. That aligns with the core count we expect, and it’s not far off from 24 Xe-Cores found on its direct predecessor, the Arc A580.

Pair this information with the ASRock leak several days ago and we have a fuller picture on what Arc B580 may look like: 20 Xe2-Cores at 2.85GHz, 12GB VRAM with 192-bit bus, PCIe 5.0 x8 connectivity, and a possible launch date of this December. In any case, we are just days away from entering the final month of 2024, so expect announcements from Intel pretty soon.
