NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 May Launch in April

Videocardz received exclusive information recently with regards of RTX 4070.

NVIDIA has shared updated embargo information for the RTX 4070, but no specific dates was provided. However, AIB partners were informed that the launch should land on April – a hard launch. Aside from that, other embargos such as news release, reviews are still TBD (to be disclosed).

It is worth noting that internal information such as this can change over time, as we’re still about two months away from the projected launch date. To recap, the RTX 4070 will sit below 4070 Ti with substantially lower power consumption (200W vs 285W), with about 3/4 of the raw compute power (29 TFLOPS vs 40 TFLOPS) and the same 12GB GDDR6X VRAM. As leaker @kopite7kimi points out, three subvariants has been known internally as of this writing.
