NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 MSRP To Match RTX 3070 Ti

Bad news if you’re looking for cheaper MSRPs.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 MSRP To Match RTX 3070 Ti

NVIDIA’s price-nudging for its RTX 40 GPUs continues, according to internal press briefings. The upcoming RTX 4070 is set to cost $599 (~RM2,649), which happens to be the same MSRP that came with previous generation RTX 3070 Ti. While it is technically $200 cheaper than the RTX 4070 Ti (costs $799 – which was dropped from $899 after the ‘unlaunch’), the general pricing for RTX 40 series has been criticized by many gamers since launch.

To recap the specs: the RTX 4070 is set to come with 5,888 cores – same as predecessor, RTX 3070 – and 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM. It is said that two variants of the same model name exist – with higher power (225W+), 12VHPWR models and standard 200W models that utilizes traditional PCIe 8-pin connectors to cover the lower end of the spectrum.

Previous sources has pointed out the RTX 4070 should launch on April 13th. Given NVIDIA hasn’t given any heads up to the public so far, this could be a surprise launch from Team Green – so watch this space. Still, as a rumor – take it with a fair amount of salt.
