NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090: 50% Faster Clock Speed Than RTX 3090?

Some new rumours have surfaced on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, and this one claims that it has 50% faster clock speed than the RTX 3090 when under load. According to details shared by renowned leaker, @kopite7kimi, the RTX 4090 could come with a base clock of 2,235MHz, a boost clock of 2,520MHz, and a game clock of 2,750MHz.

In comparison, the RTX 3090 has a base clock of 1,395MHz and a boost clock of 1,795MHz, which brings about a 50% increase in clock speed. It’s also worth noting that there is a possibility of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti being launched, which is said to come with 16,384 CUDA cores, a 384-bit memory bus, 24GB GDDR6X VRAM at speeds of 21Gbps, and a 420W TDP. This one uses the AD102-300-A1 GPU.

NVIDIA Aims to Release the GeForce RTX 40 Series Q3 and Q4 This Year According to Rumours

It’s also worth pointing out the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 that’s using the AD104 GPU. This is expected to come with 7,168 CUDA cores, a 160-bit memory bus, 10GB GDDR6 VRAM at speeds of 18Gbps, and a 300W TDP. If these details are accurate, the yet-to-be-announced RTX 4060 will likely come with a higher TDP than the RTX 3070.

For now, do take this information with a grain of salt. NVIDIA is expected to officially announced the GeForce RTX 40 Series cards starting September 2022 until some time next year, releasing one card at a time. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: As much as I would like to upgrade to this one, I’m not even sure if it will be easy enough to get my hands on them. If stock isn’t much of an issue, then sure, why not.
