NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops are set to launch on 16 October, and ahead of that, NVIDIA and its ecosystem partners have kicked off a wave of software updates spanning AI tools, creative applications and gaming enhancements. The rollout is now live, and will continue throughout launch week and into the weeks ahead.
NVIDIA RTX Spark AI Tools And Software Updates
Two new Nemotron 3.5 Bolt models are arriving to support local AI on RTX Spark. The Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B A9B is a 74-billion-parameter mixture-of-experts model with 9 billion active parameters, designed for always-on personal AI agents handling coding, research, monitoring and tool use. It fits within a 24GB memory footprint and launches on 15 October with support for llama.cpp, Ollama, vLLM and LM Studio.
Following on 23 October, the smaller Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B is designed for responsive conversational agents and interactive game characters. Developers and gamers can try it with SkyrimNET, an AI NPC modding platform for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that enables dynamic conversations with in-game characters.
Several local AI apps are also available now. Hugging Face Llama Windows is a free, open-source Windows application that makes it easier to discover, download and run open AI models locally using llama.cpp, without requiring the command line. NVIDIA PAIR has exited beta, adding RTX Spark and llama.cpp support so users can offload AI workloads to another device while keeping inference local. New agent integrations also connect to NVIDIA applications including Broadcast, the NVIDIA app, RTX Remix and Omniverse.
On the creative side, NVIDIA Broadcast 2.3 introduces offline file processing, beta RTX Video Super Resolution and Frame Generation, new Studio Voice profiles, and MCP support for compatible AI agents to control Broadcast features. Adobe is optimizing Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D for RTX Spark, with up to 2X faster performance across AI, editing, color and effects workflows. ComfyUI adds RTX Video Frame Generation and HDR nodes for enhanced AI-generated video, while DLSS Ray Reconstruction support is coming to Blender 5.3 in November.
DLSS 5 & Gaming Updates
RTX Spark laptops will launch on 16 October with support for hundreds of games including Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Gears of War: E-Day, Genshin Impact, Hogwarts Legacy, Honkai: Star Rail, Marvel Rivals, NBA 2K27, World of Warcraft and more. The platform supports the full suite of RTX technologies: DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, ray tracing, NVIDIA Reflex and G-SYNC.

A faster DLSS 5 model arrives on 16 October alongside NBA 2K27 Season 2, boosting frame rates by up to 1.4X on supported GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, RTX Spark laptops and GeForce NOW. NVIDIA states the latest optimizations make DLSS 5 10X faster overall than the pre-release model introduced in March. Hogwarts Legacy adds DLSS 5 on 5 November, and Where Winds Meet will receive an update in late November. RTX Remix also gains DLSS 5 support on 23 October, along with ComfyUI integration and batch processing for AI-powered texture generation.
Several new DLSS-supported games are also arriving this week – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Early Access begins on 16 October with DLSS 4.5, Crossout Remastered receives its DLSS 4.5 update on 22 October, and Among The Trolls launches on 14 October with DLSS and ray tracing. Gear.Club Unlimited 3, Permafrost, Pax Autocratica and ARC Raiders‘ Frozen Trail update are all available now with various DLSS features.

A new NVIDIA app beta update introduces new “Preset C” setting that functions as a faster performance mode for DLSS Frame Generation, Multi Frame Generation and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. The mode uses a lightweight AI model to prioritize higher frame rates and is available for GeForce RTX 40 Series, RTX 50 Series and RTX Spark laptops.
