NVIDIA Reportedly To Stagger Launch Its Upcoming RTX 40 SUPER GPUs
Videocardz has obtained information from sources with the launch dates for NVIDIA’s upcoming SUPER series GPUs, which the company has yet to acknowledge its existence thus far. The schedule is very packed – as the three models in this refreshed lineup will launch one after another across three weeks.
Going by the timetable, it looks like Team Green is set to announce the lineup on January 8, 2024 at 9AM PT (9/1/2024 1AM Malaysian time), with the unboxing videos of the RTX 4070 SUPER set to go live a few hours later after the announcement.
The launch week kicks off on the 3rd week of 2024, starting with RTX 4070 SUPER, followed by RTX 4070 Ti SUPER on the week after, with the RTX 4080 SUPER launching after that. On all three occasions, the MSRP card reviews will launch one day earlier, whereas overclocked cards will follow the same time as the card’s official release.
Since January 8 happens to coincide with the opening of CES 2024 – expect the leather jacket man himself, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, to formally announce the new lineup on stage with the company’s special address.
