Logitech G has officially announced its latest gaming keyboard at Logi Play, the Logitech G915 X, marking a new era for low-profile wireless gaming. Standing just 23mm high, the G915 X is one of the company’s thinnest gaming keyboards to date, offering a sleek, modern design paired with cutting-edge gaming technology. With this launch, Logitech G aims to provide the ultimate premium gaming experience for both casual and hardcore gamers.
Logitech G915 X Series

The Logitech G915 X boasts a brand-new galvanic switch design, featuring a POM cross-style stem, which replaces the older hook-style stem. This design improvement enhances key stability and offers a quieter typing experience, while also making it easier to customise or replace keycaps.
The switch actuation point has been shortened from 1.5mm to 1.3mm, offering quicker responsiveness during gameplay. Additionally, Logitech has upgraded the keycaps from ABS to double-shot PBT, improving resistance to wear and reducing oil build-up.
The keyboard’s build quality has also been improved, with a thicker aluminium top plate (1.5mm compared to the previous 1.2mm) for added structural strength, further enhancing the already loved typing experience.

The Logitech G915 X retains the original G915’s tri-mode connectivity, including LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-wired modes. With these, gamers can switch seamlessly between different connection options based on their needs.
Battery life has seen a notable improvement as well. With RGB backlighting turned off, the full-size G915 X offers up to 800 hours of battery life, while even with backlighting at full brightness, it provides up to 36 hours of continuous use—a 20% improvement over the original model. The tenkeyless (TKL) version pushes this even further, offering up to 1000 hours with backlighting off and 42 hours at full brightness.
Logitech G has also introduced KEYCONTROL, a powerful new customisation tool. Any key on the keyboard can be transformed into a macro key, allowing multiple commands to be executed with a single press. This feature provides gamers with unparalleled control, especially when combined with the G shift key on Logitech G mice, turning the entire keyboard into a command centre.

Other notable features of the Logitech G915 X include:
- Tri-mode connectivity: Switch between LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, or wired modes.
- Soft-touch media keys, 9 G-keys, and a cast iron volume roller for quick control access.
- LIGHTSYNC RGB: Access to 16.8 million colours for full customisation via the Logitech G HUB software.

Pokdepinion: I had the older version with microUSB and it was pretty good, at least the tactile version. I’m happy to see a new version with USB-C around now as we definitely need more low-profile keyboard options.
