Razer has officially launched the Razer Basilisk V4 Pro, its latest iteration of the ergonomic gaming mouse, alongside the Razer Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed and the new Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro wireless charging dock. The Basilisk V4 Pro brings a host of next-generation upgrades, including the Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, 14 customizable controls, 7-zone Chroma RGB with full underglow, and true 8,000 Hz wireless polling via HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2.
Razer Basilisk V4 Pro: Specs & Features

The Basilisk V4 Pro retains the ergonomic silhouette and signature thumb rest that the line is known for, while introducing several design changes. The acclaimed multi-function trigger has been repositioned for a more natural reach, and the layout now accommodates a third side button and an entirely new M1 edge button, bringing the total to 14 customizable controls. Not quite Razer Naga, but close enough. Despite the added features, the mouse is 12g lighter than its predecessor.
The new HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 introduces three scrolling modes: the familiar 24-step Tactile mode, a new Precision Tactile mode with 48-step control for cycling through hotbars, and Free-Spin for fast long scrolls. Smart-Reel mode switches between Tactile and Free-Spin automatically based on scroll speed, and Virtual Acceleration in Razer Synapse lets players tune scrolling behavior across five acceleration levels.

At the core of the mouse is the Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, capable of up to 50,000 DPI, 930 IPS, and 90 G acceleration. Frame Sync aligns sensor scanning to the polling cycle for lower motion latency and improved battery efficiency, Asymmetric Cut-Off allows independent control over lift-off and landing distance, while Perfect 180 – this might be a controversial feature in competitive play – enables instant 180-degree turns for low-sensitivity FPS players. Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 are rated for 100 million clicks with 12% lighter actuation.
Connectivity is handled by HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 at true 8,000Hz in both wireless and wired modes, Bluetooth 6.2 with up to three paired devices, and a standard wired connection, covering five connectivity options in total. Battery life reaches up to 200 hours on HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 at 1,000Hz, or up to 275 hours on Bluetooth 6.2. The 7-zone Chroma RGB lighting with full underglow supports 16.8 million colors per zone and syncs with over 300 Chroma-integrated games and more than 50 partner products.
Razer Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed & Mouse Dock V2 Pro

For players who want a lighter, more streamlined option, the Razer Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed offers the same ergonomic Basilisk form factor at just 94 grams. It is equipped with the Focus X 33K Optical Sensor Gen-3, 12 customizable controls, and up to 140 hours of battery life.

Launching alongside both mice is the Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro, which combines magnetic wireless charging with an integrated 8,000Hz transceiver for full HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 performance. It also supports HyperSpeed Multi-Device connectivity, allowing compatible Razer mice and keyboards to connect through the dock for a cleaner desktop setup. The dock features 8-zone Chroma RGB underglow, a charge status indicator, and an anti-slip base.
Razer also continues to offer the Razer HyperFlux V2 as an alternative wireless charging solution for users who prefer a different setup approach.
Pricing and Availability
The Razer Basilisk V4 Pro is priced at RM699 and is available now at Razer.com, RazerStores, and select retailers worldwide. The Razer Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed is priced at RM479, while the Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro retails at RM299. All three products are available now through the same channels.
Pokdepinion: This is looking like a proper competitor against the Logitech G502 X with the amount of buttons it packs.
