As we all know CES 2022 is running and recently the folks at HyperX has unveiled their latest gaming peripherals which includes the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless, the world’s first 300-hour gaming headset.

As mentioned earlier, the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless offers the longest battery life for a gaming headset at 300 hours. It comes with DTS Headphone X and utilizes custom-designed Dual Chamber Technology plus 50mm Drivers.

In terms of comfort, it comes with “soft, pliable leatherette” and custom plush memory foam as well as an aluminum frame. There’s also a detachable noise-cancelling mic with LED status indicator plus onboard audio controls on the ear cup.

Meet the HyperX Clutch wireless controller, one for the mobile gamers out there. It provides wireless support for Android devices through Bluetooth 4.2 or a 2.4GHz wireless receiver.

A USB-C to USB-A cable is included if you want to use it to play on your PC as well. Aside from that, it comes with a detachable and adjustable mobile phone clip that expands from 41mm to 86mm and packs a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts up to 19 hours on a single charge.

From the image above, you can see that the HyperX Pulsefire Haste sports a honeycomb hex shell design. It operates on 2.4GHz and features a battery life of up to 100 hours on a single charge. It comes with six programmable buttons with onboard memory and uses TTC Golden micro dustproof switches that’s rated for up to 80 million clicks.

Also coming with IP55 water-resistant rating, the base comes with pure virgin-grade PTFE skates for smoother glides. The sides comes with grip tape and it includes a replacement set of PTFE skates. You can further customize the mouse with HyperX’s NGENUITY software by changing the DPI, button assignments and record macros to your liking.

[CES 2022] HyperX's Latest Peripherals Including 300-Hour Wireless Gaming Headset 34The new Alloy Origins 65 features a space-saving 65 percent form factor with dedicated arrow keys, delete, page up, and page down keys. It utilizes HyperX mechanical switches with up to 80 million rated clicks and RGB backlit.

You can further customize the brightness with 5 adjustable brightness levels. It uses double shot PBT keycaps for better long-term use. Of course, you can utilize their NGENUITY software to custom it to your preferred liking. Coming back to the switches, you have the option of either their Red linear switch or Aqua tactile switches.

The HyperX Cloud II offers 7.1 virtual surround sound and independent audio and microphone volume control. You can also toggle on the 7.1 virtual surround sound with a push of a button. The headphone uses 53mm drivers and it offers multi-device compatibility.

Finally we have the HyperX Cloud Core gaming headset that’s designed for an immersive in-game audio experience as it comes with DTS Headphone X that offers accurate 3D audio. Coming with an aluminum frame and adjustable headband, it also includes a flexible, detachable noise-cancelling microphone that’s Discord and TeamSpeak certified.

Pokdepinion: It’s been such a long time since I’ve used a HyperX headphone (or actually any product), with the last being the Cloud Stinger. With the new Cloud Alpha, the battery does sound impressive but I wonder how the actual sound quality would be like.
