PC peripheral giant Cooler Master has announced a new headset called CH331, which is “designed with all the essentials in mind” – with durability and audio being the focus of this model. “The CH331 is a gaming headset that’s truly designed to be a daily driver. For those who are looking for a great headset with really solid audio quality and reliable construction, the CH331 is right up their alley.” says Bryant Nguyen, Peripheral General Manager of Cooler Master. “It’s loaded with the essential features you need and want in a quality headset.”
The earcups are padded with PU leather which provides softer cushion and better seal for improved noise isolation. The lightweight build minimizes excess pressure put on the head which should help with the comfort in long gaming sessions. The metallic “Y-yoke” frame features adjustable sliders to fit various head sizes.
As for the audio itself, the CH331 packs a pair of low-impedance 50mm drivers that is “custom-tuned” to delivery virtual 7.1 channel surround sound. The sole connection required for the headset will be the USB-A connector with inline controls (which also powers the RGB lighting), and the omnidirectional boom microphone is also removable to allow easier packaging during transport.
The Cooler Master CH331 gaming headset is now available nationwide, priced at RM149.
Pokdepinion: In some ways this headset reminds me of the HyperX Cloud Alpha with all the removable parts and no-frills approach to gaming headsets.
