vivo V27 First Impressions
The vivo V27 is an interesting smartphone as it’s a midranger with the looks and feels of a more premium device. We got our hands on the Emerald Green variant, which is also the one where the rear’s look can be changed thanks to the Colour Changing design element. Essentially, if you put some objects on the rear and shine it with UV light, either artificial or under the sun, the pattern of said object will be shown in the rear. Without any objects, it will turn from a lighter shade to a darker one.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200, which is expected to give you quite a bit of performance as long as you don’t expect it to be the same as the modern flagships of today. It’s also on the more efficient side in terms of energy thanks to its 4nm build. For our review unit, we got the 12GB RAM / 256GB storage variant.
Apart from that, it sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED 3D curved display with up to 120Hz refrsh rate, and it’s said to be the thinnest 3D curved display in the company’s history. All of this is juiced up by an admirable 4,600mAh battery with support for up to 66W charging speed via the included 66W FlashCharge charging brick.
