TikTok Shop Malaysia has introduced a 30-day Free Returns policy for all authentic branded products listed under TikTok Shop Mall, doubling the previous return window of 15 days. The policy update is said to enhance consumer protection and improve after-sales experiences across the platform.
TikTok Shop Mall 30-Day Free Returns
Effective from early June 2025, the new return policy applies to both local and international brands on TikTok Shop Mall – eligible products are identified with a ‘Mall’ badge on the platform and are backed by TikTok Shop’s 100% Authenticity Guarantee.
For those unfamiliar, the Mall’s Free Returns feature allows shoppers to initiate return requests via the Orders Page within the app (the period starts from the day delivery is fulfilled); return shipping costs for reasons categorized as ‘No Longer Needed’ will be covered by TikTok Shop. However, to ensure fairness, sellers retain the right to reject returns if the items do not meet required conditions.
