Touch ‘n Go eWallet has recently been recognized and honored with two prestigious awards at the PC.com Awards Night – being the Best eWallet for MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) and the Best eWallet Service Provider. The PC.com Awards is a significant recognition in the tech industry, as it involves the readers voting for their favorite brands across various categories. The voting process included more than 300 nominations over a month-long period.

Alan Ni, CEO of TNG Digital Sdn Bhd said: “This recognition of our efforts in providing the best financial technology (FinTech) services to our users makes us more determined to further improve our services and assure our users that they can use our digital financial services conveniently, safely, and sustainably. We have always done our best to address our users’ needs, promote financial inclusion, and offer a platform to give back to society. We also emphasise the use of data and technology to deliver high-quality products and services while ensuring that our eWallet is safe and secure for all our users.”

Touch ‘n Go eWallet has played a significant role in shaping Malaysia’s cashless society, serving as the cornerstone of the country’s digital payment landscape. With over 20 million users and an extensive network of more than 1.7 million merchant touchpoints, it has become the largest eWallet network in Malaysia. The company has also expanded its services beyond the borders since last year, enabling cross-border payments in countries such as Mainland China, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan, with more to come.

In addition to its core eWallet functionality, Touch ‘n Go eWallet has introduced a range of inclusive financial services products. These offerings include GO+, GOpinjam, GOinvest, GOprotect, and the first CSR-linked Visa Card that complements the eWallet – which allows users to make donations to 1,000+ charity organizations directly.

Pokdepinion: The role played by TnG is definitely not a small one in pushing Malaysian society to cashless, while being competitive to many other competing eWallet providers.
