Ryt Bank has launched Apple Pay support for its Ryt Card, making it the first digital bank in Malaysia to support both Apple Pay and Google Pay. Customers can now add their Ryt Card to Apple Wallet and use it to pay in stores, online, and in apps.
Ryt Bank Apple Pay Support on Ryt Card
With Apple Pay now available, Ryt Card holders on iPhone can tap to pay at any contactless terminal that accepts Apple Pay, as well as complete purchases within apps and on websites that support the payment method. The addition means Ryt Bank customers no longer need to carry a physical card for most everyday transactions, regardless of whether they use an Apple or Android device.
To add a Ryt Card to Apple Wallet, simply open the Wallet app on any compatible Apple device, tap the “+” button and follow the instructions to add their card.
Ryt Bank had already enabled Google Pay for its cardholders earlier this year, giving Android users the same convenience. With both platforms now supported, the bank covers the two dominant mobile wallet ecosystems in Malaysia.
