Instagram has quietly increased the limit for carousel posts, allowing users to now include up to 20 items in a single post. This change is a significant update from the previous 10-item limit, meaning your “photo dump” posts can now showcase even more images and videos in one go.

Instagram’s move to double its carousel limit seems to be in response to its key competitor, TikTok, which allows users to include up to 35 photos and/or videos in a single post. With this update, Instagram is stepping up its game, offering users more flexibility to share their content.
Pokdepinion: Being able to showcase more is good but I wonder if it could end up overwhelming users instead since there’s more to see. Then again, if people are going out of their way to look anyway, then might not be a problem to begin with.
