Windows 11 Is Testing Downloading Apps Through Search Bar
This new feature is available in the highly experimental Canary channel, for now.
The new Windows 11 Build 25330 has introduced a few improvements here-and-there, though most notably is the new app download through search feature. As it implies – you can search up any apps you need, then click download from there, skipping the store page entirely. However, this is only limited to free apps, so any paid stuffs will still go through the conventional route (which contains improved UI to better fit Windows 11’s design language).
Another update is the Wheel devices setting (intended for devices such as Surface Dial), which are now redesigned to match the look of Windows 11 as well. Apart from that, there’s minor changes, including: pressing PrtScn (Print Screen) key will now bring up Snipping Tool first by default, though this can be reverted back; the Camera app can now be uninstalled, and other minor UX changes.

Pokdepinion: Should speed up the first-time setup with this feature, though it’d be great if Win32 apps are also supported.
