If you’re a big fan of Gundam, well here’s possibly some great news for you; a live-action movie of the title will be heading its way soon to Netflix.

Live-action Gundam coming to Netflix

It appears that Legendary Pictures is the team behind the movie and it is set to be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. If he sounds familiar to you, well he is known for his work on Kong: Skull Island.

Despite the announcement, Netflix hasn’t shed any light on who the cast or what the story is all about. It does seem like a match made in heaven however as Legendary Pictures has previously worked on Pacific Rim movies, so we’re rest assured that they have some experience in big mecha fights.

Aside from that, it appears that Netflix will also be releasing a live-action Cowboy Bebop which starts John Cho. The film is said to arrive as early as this year. For more on the latest tech and gaming news plus reviews, stay tuned to Pokde.net.

Pokdepinion: I’m sure the question that’s on everyone’s mind is which arc they will take from or is it entirely an original story. I might be going against the trend here, but I wish they do the latter and bring in something new.
