The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have earned themselves the “Best Smartphone” award at the 2017 Asia Mobile Awards held at Mobile World Congress Shanghai. The award was given by the GSM Association (GSMA) at the DaGuan Theather in Pudong, Shanghai.

The award comes after an an assessment performed by a panel of leading journalists, analysts and market influences. Criteria taken into account include physical design, user experience, performance, simplicity of use, value for money and sheer innovation. With the unique bezel-less design and immersive Infinity Display, it comes as no surprise for the Galaxy S8 duo to net themselves the prize.
