The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026) has concluded at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), recording 205,440 visitors over its 10-day run. Organized by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), the 11th edition ran under the theme “Beyond Mobility,” said to reflect the industry’s ongoing shift toward electrification and connected mobility.

The show spanned seven halls at MITEC and featured brands including Dongfeng, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Jetour, Kia, Maxus, Mazda, MG Motors, Nissan, Perodua, Proton, smart, Toyota, Wuling, XPENG, and Zeekr, with AFAZ and Suzuki representing the motorcycle segment. Visitor engagement highlights included the “Experience The Drive” program, an Urban Play obstacle course, and Car Club Gatherings for automotive enthusiasts.
KLIMS 2026 has saw several market launches and concept previews throughout the event. National carmaker Proton introduced the CKD e.MAS 5 and the e.MAS 7 Premium Plus, while Honda brought the Prelude hybrid coupe to the Malaysian market. Hyundai launched the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N, as its N performance sub-brand formally debuts in Malaysia, alongside the Stargazer MPV. Mazda added the CX-60 MHEV, and MG Motor introduced the ZS Hybrid+ and Cyberster. Jetour, meanwhile, launched the T2 i-DM plug-in hybrid SUV and the G700 SUV on the show.
On the concept side, Perodua unveiled the C2 Concept prototype EV sedan, alongside a QV-E G+ Edition preview; Toyota presented an electrified Corolla concept, and Proton showcased its FutureMotion HEV powertrain. XPENG exhibited the X2 flying car, while Dongfeng previewed the Voyah Dream MPV. Additional previews came from Zeekr (9X SUV and 009 Grand MPV), Wuling (Huajing S), Kia (EV4, EV5, PV5, and K4), GWM (Ora 5 HEV and Haval Raptor), Nissan (facelifted X-Trail e-Power), and Dongfeng (008 EV SUV and M-Hero II PHEV).
A lucky draw with prizes totalling RM125,000 was held throughout the event, with the winner taking home the grand prize – a Perodua Bezza AV sponsored by the carmaker. KLIMS 2026 also introduced the KLIMS Creator Award, recognizing digital content creators across five categories, with each category winner receiving RM1,000 in cash. The MAA has indicated that preparations for the next edition of KLIMS are underway, which is scheduled for 2028.
