realme today formally launches its Note 70 entry-level smartphone, with main selling points being the 6,300mAh battery – the largest in its segment – housed within a slim profile at just 7.94mm. Most of the specs essentially confirms what we saw several days ago when the smartphone maker teased the device.

Per its claims, the realme Note 70’s 6,300mAh battery offers up to “two full days of heavy use” on a single charge, and it also functions as a power bank with 6W reverse charging to power other devices. As an entry-level budget phone, the processor is expectedly on the low-end, with the Unisoc T7250 chipset and 6GB RAM powering the smartphone with a claimed AnTuTu score of 277,000, and “stable 60FPS for two hours” on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the game of which the smartphone maker is pretty involved with.
The Note 70 also includes Smart Touch technology for accurate response with wet or oily hands, 300% Ultra Volume for enhanced audio, and durability features such as drop-proof ArmorShell protection, military-grade shock resistance, IP54 water and dust resistance, and the new SonicWave Ejection feature that utilize specific frequencies to vibrate trapped water out of the speakers.
In terms of design, realme says the Note 70 features “Coastline Design” with “wave-like textures” and a Pulse Light LED offering nine colors presets and five customizable modes (think of it as a more basic version of Nothing’s Glyph interface). For imaging, the device features a 13MP camera, with secondary sensor unspecified; the front features a 5MP camera housed within a 6.74-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and a peak 563-nit brightness.
Priced at RM449 for the sole configuration of 6GB+128GB, the device will be available starting 29 August in two colors, Gold and Black, through realme Brand Stores, authorized dealers, and official platforms on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
