Besides the new iPhones, Apple has announced updates across its audio and wearable lineup in its annual September Apple Event, introducing AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. All four products are coming to Malaysia, although no concrete timeline has been given as of this writing.
AirPods Pro 3
The AirPods Pro 3 features a redesigned in-ear fit with new foam-infused ear tips in five sizes and IP57 ingress protection; it also has a double duty as a miniaturized fitness tracker with a heart rate sensor onboard. The improved ANC is now claimed twice as effective over predecessor, and Apple claims up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC enabled. There’s also a Live Translation feature, currently supporting five languages (English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish), with four more (Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese) to be added later this year. It’ll cost RM999 when it becomes officially available.
Apple Watches

Moving on to Apple Watches: the Apple Watch Series 11 introduces a thinner design with up to 24 hours of battery life, and its Ion-X glass (ion-exchanged strengthened glass) comes with ceramic coating bonded via vapor deposition process resulting in doubled scratch resistance. Sleep score is the latest addition to the wearable, along with updates such as Workout Buddy, wrist flick gestures, new watch faces, and expanded personalization in the new watchOS 26 operating system. There are two sizes – 42mm and 46mm – with aluminum or polished titanium cases available, with prices starting from RM1,799.

Next up is Apple Watch SE 3 on the cheaper end, which features the S10 chip that enables Always-On display, fast charging, and on-device Siri. Sleep score and Workout Buddy are also available here, along with wrist temperature sensing, retrospective ovulation estimates, and sleep apnea notifications. This model is offered in 40mm and 44mm aluminum versions, starting at RM1,049.

Finally, the flagship Apple Watch Ultra 3 features the largest display of any Apple Watch with LTPO3 and wide-angle OLED technology that retains brightness when viewed at an angle; it delivers up to 42 hours of battery life, or 72 hours in Low Power Mode, with fast charging providing up to 12 hours in 15 minutes. You also get the aforementioned Sleep score and Workout Buddy features, along with the claimed “most accurate GPS in a sports watch.” It’ll be available in Natural Titanium and Black Titanium colors, costing RM3,699 apiece.
Pokdepinion: The all-black look of Watch Ultra 3 though.
