OPPO has confirmed that the upcoming OPPO Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first smartphones globally to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, the latest flagship chipset from MediaTek built on TSMC’s 2nm N2P process.

The Dimensity 9600 Pro continues its All-Big-Core architecture with a new configuration comprising two 4.55GHz Arm C2-Ultra cores and six additional Arm C2-Pro cores (in two 3-core clusters); overall CPU performance improves by 17%, and independent frequency control per core allows for more precise workload scheduling across the chip.
Graphics are handled by the new Arm G2-Ultra NX GPU, which brings enhanced ray tracing and neural graphics capabilities to the platform. Under sustained heavy workloads, the Dimensity 9600 Pro delivers approximately 27% higher GPU performance compared to its predecessor, which should translate to richer visuals and smoother gaming on the Find X10 Pro Max.
The chipset’s AI capabilities come from a dual-NPU configuration pairing a high-performance NPU with a Super-Efficient NPU, translating to 51% faster LLM prefill speeds compared to the previous generation, which benefits tasks like large-model inference and computational photography. The Super-Efficient NPU, meanwhile, operates at 40% lower power consumption, allowing background AI features to run with less battery impact.
Also debuting on the Find X10 Pro Max is the OPPO Laminar Flow Engine, a rendering optimization technology jointly developed by OPPO and MediaTek. The technology, according to the Chinese smartphone maker, works by “restructuring the underlying rendering architecture and coordinating it more closely with system scheduling,” which achieves a better balance between “ultra-smooth system responsiveness and low power consumption.” OPPO says it also accelerates app launches and maintains stable content loading during demanding tasks such as rapid photo browsing.
No pricing or specific launch date for the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max has been announced at this time, though we can further specifications and details to be revealed at the global launch event in due time.
