CelcomDigi and Kulim Technology Park Corporation (KTPC) have entered into a 15-year strategic agreement to deliver fiber connectivity at Industrial Zone Phase 4A (IZP 4A) of Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP) in Kedah. The telco operator will manage fiber duct infrastructure at IZP 4A and provide incoming tenants with a suite of enterprise connectivity solutions to support their manufacturing and digitalization operations.
CelcomDigi To Supply Fiber For IZP 4A Project
Under the agreement, CelcomDigi will provide tenants at IZP 4A with enterprise solutions including Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), Private Leased Lines (PLL), IPVPN, Managed Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), and Managed Fiber services. As IZP 4A continues to develop and attract new tenants, the partnership is structured to adapt connectivity solutions to their evolving operational needs over the course of the 15-year agreement.
The collaboration is positioned within the wider development goals of the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER), which covers Perlis, Kedah, Penang, and Perak. CelcomDigi stated that through this partnership, it aims to contribute to the Northern Corridor’s investment potential and support the growth of technology-driven industries across Malaysia.
KHTP, established in 1996, has grown into a major industrial hub for Kedah and the broader Northern Corridor Economic Region. As of the second quarter of 2026, the park recorded a cumulative investment of RM189.4 billion and supports a workforce of 48,813 people.
